ARRANGER NOTES — The verse of this beautiful Italian Christmas carol was composed by Pietro A. Yon in 1917, but the chorus was actually borrowed from Adeste Fidelis (O Come, All Ye Faithful). While the verse is quite simple and elegant, the more dramatic chorus (beginning at bar 18) broadens with rolling LH arpeggios that match the famous lyrics: “O come, let us adore Him”.
